Terms of service
The short version, and the real one.
Last updated 9 September 2026. These terms are between you and Emile de la Rey trading as Napkin Group (ABN 38 586 173 074), Australia, who operates Tusk CMS. Australian law applies.
What Tusk is
Tusk is a content editing service for websites you build and host yourself. We store the content your clients edit and hand it to your build. We do not host your website and we are not responsible for it.
Accounts
- A studio account is opened by a developer or agency, who is responsible for it and for the client accounts they invite.
- Keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think an account has been used without permission.
- You must be able to enter a contract, and you must have the right to put the content you upload on the website it is for.
Plans and payment
- Plans are priced by site, in Australian dollars, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Client seats beyond those included are charged per seat per month.
- You can change or cancel a plan at any time; changes take effect at the next billing date. We do not refund partial months.
- If a payment fails we tell you and keep the service running for 14 days before limiting it to read-only. Your clients' published content stays served to your build.
- Prices can change with 30 days' notice by email.
Your content
- Content stays yours, or your client's. You give us permission to store it, process it and deliver it to your build, and nothing more.
- No unlawful content, and nothing that infringes someone else's rights.
- Uploads are re-encoded and size-limited. We may remove content that breaks these terms and will tell you when we do.
Availability and support
We aim to keep Tusk available at all times but do not promise it. Published content is served from a cached feed, so a Tusk outage does not take a website down, though editing may pause. Support is by email at admin@oryxbga.com.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from Tusk is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. Nothing here removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Ending the agreement
You can close a studio account at any time from the dashboard or by email; its sites, content and client seats are deleted within 30 days. We can end an account for breach of these terms with notice, or immediately if the breach is serious.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email to studio owners at least 14 days before they apply.
